our first home

Jeremy and I bought a lot in Kaysville in March 2013. We had originally planned on Gary (Jeremy's dad) being our general contractor but with all the time it would take to put into such a big project we decided to use a GC our bank suggested. It took us 7 months to get everything into order and finally broke ground in September 2013. It was so much fun building, but also very stressful trying to stay on budget and finishing on time. Jer and Gary did almost all of the finish work, they spent countless hours every night and weekend trying to finish everything so we could move in. During the building process it seemed like everything took forever but now that we are in I'm so grateful we took our time. We moved in on March 15th 2014 and we have loved living in our home. We have such a wonderful neighborhood, we living in a cul-de-sac and it is so fun to see all of our little neighborhood kids run around and play all day and night. We will definitely be here for a while!
